Reporting to the VP Marketing, CSR and R&D, the Trade Marketing Director is the driving force between marketing, sales, category management, finance, and supply chain to increase branded portfolio demand (Del Monte, Arctic Gardens and Bonduelle).

He/She acts externally on behalf of sales and internally as a general manager leading to a cohesive, coordinated effort and financial performance of the branded portfolio. 

Its deep level of understanding of the market landscape dynamic, the retailers, the competitors and the shoppers provides him/her the ability to generate specific activities aligned with our brand growth strategies.

His/Her high level of knowledge on promotional pricing strategies gives His/Her an important role in the Revenue Growth Management.



  • Develop the Trade Marketing Plan and lead the cross functional execution of the marketing strategy;
  • Execute the annual plan on a daily basis in conjunction with marketing, sales, finance and supply chain;
  • Manage sales force and broker for national brands account management and retail store coverage and execution;
  • Be the voice of the customer in the innovation planning, campaign activation, shopper marketing programs;
  • Partner with Category Management and the Brand Management teams in the development of customer-facing materials;
  • Establish Branded Promotional Playbook strategies for our brands to improve sales revenue, gross margin and market share performance;
  • Define and monitor customer pricing implementation;
  • Accountable for trade spend P&L and budget;
  • Ensure the optimization of the profitability of trade marketing and promotional programs;
  • Provide input into SIOP (forecasting) process to ensure customer trends are accurately reflected in forecasts;
  • Ensure the listings and optimize portfolio per channel, store type and format;
  • Ensure sound management of master data with industry partners;
  • Visit the points of sales regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected;
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance by retailer;
  • Improve the market position of our brands and related volume and profitability;
  • Influence and implement new and improved internal processes in trade marketing management;
  • Be the promotions optimization representative in the Revenue Growth Management working group.



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or a similar position.  Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing;
  • Relevant experience in retail sales account management with branded products and third party salesforces;
  • General management skills and ability to persuade and generate support;
  • Strategically minded with an ability to lead transformation and processes implementation;
  • Strong knowledge in category management;
  • Strong analytical, financial and forecasting skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced oral presentation skills;
  • Problem solving and creative thinking;
  • Bilingual: French and English advanced.
