The Corporate Quality and Food Safety Manager is responsible for the development, oversight, and execution of the Quality and Food Safety programs at the 4 manufacturing facilities. This position effectively collaborates with facility operations leadership and cross-functional departments to drive the quality and food safety compliance and
continuous improvement in the products and processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate acute critical thinking skills and ability to craft and execute solutions in a fast-changing environment. This candidate must be forward-thinking in their approach to maintain the quality and food safety of our products.
•    Leads, executes and drives continuous improvement and troubleshooting in manufacturing quality and food safety management systems. 
•    Collaborates with facility manufacturing teams in ensuring that programs and products meet customer, internal and regulatory requirements. 
•    Focus on continuous improvement, process controls, performance metrics and customer complaint resolution.
•    Direct the organization to be deeply analytical, supported by systems and data management capabilities including metrics and reports. 
•    Energetic, self-motivated and the ability to manage multiple projects and work with multifunctional teams.


Key Deliverables 
•    Operates as a quality champion in digital quality and food safety systems/applications for data gathering and analysis.
•    Support the Sales/Consumer Relations team in addressing any quality concerns from our customers/consumers, this includes providing communication scripts for complex questions and requests.
•    Serve as technical resource/expert in quality and food safety for both internal and external customers.
•    Liaison with Innovation and Development team to ensure quality and food safety integrity with new products or changes in existing products. 
•    Writes and maintains the required policies and procedures at the Corporate level to support food safety and quality management systems.
•    Assists in execution of product recall and traceability exercises. 
•    Other related responsibilities as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

•    BS Degree in Food Science or related field. MS degree in a related field is preferred.
•    At least 5 years of professional experience in Quality and Food Safety. 
•    At least 3 years of experience in Supervisory, Management and Leadership roles.
•    Required knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations.
•    HACCP Certified.
•    FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Certified.
•    Hands on experience with Global Food Safety Initiative Audit Schemes (SQF Preferred).
•    Technical proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suite.
•    Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI Analytical Tools. 
•    Ability to travel (25-50%).

•    Knowledge of quality assurance program methodologies and implementation within manufacturing environment.
•    Flexible schedule.
•    Must be able to manage projects from beginning to end.
