Position Summary:
The HR Systems Analyst serves as a technical point of contact for internal HR users and assists with troubleshooting, responding to user requests and inquiries, ensuring data integrity, system configuration, maintenance, and testing of system updates, report writing and analysis, as well as developing user training. This position will maintain awareness of current HRIS trends and developments with a focus on product development, delivery and support. The HR Systems Analyst will also be assigned projects as needed to support the HR function in the areas of HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance.
What you will Do:
- Provide technical support to internal HR users in researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Perform system, data, and set-up audits to ensure data integrity.
- Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of system workflows.
- Assist with HRIS table maintenance, code creation, and configuration changes.
- Serve as back-up support for user security maintenance, including but not limited to set-up and issue resolution.
- Assist with testing of HRIS product changes and updates to ensure proper functionality across all modules, external feeds, and workflows.
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports, queries, and dashboards utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing internal and external customer needs.
- Assist in the development of written user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and end user training.
- Participate as an active member of HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance projects as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar required or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of HRIS systems experience or HR generalist experience
- Demonstrated organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal, planning, problem solving, and business analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with UKG Pro and BI’s People Analytics
- Familiar with tools to support data analysis (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau, and Cognos).
- Proficient in use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google (mail, calendar, drive, docs, sheets, slides), payroll and time management software.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization
- A proven track record of results with a bias for action
- A passion for learning and a craving to work in a fun culture
