Position Summary:

As a National Forecast Program Manager, you are responsible for creating and aligning the sales and operations forecast which drives production scheduling, sales flow, and budgeting for the organization. In addition, you are responsible for report generation to update the business on key metrics and identifying and implementing process improvements. The incumbent must demonstrate a complete understanding of end-to-end supply chain and forecasting, and impact on the overall business. Must possess critical and analytical skills that significantly enhance our service standards and the ability to consider many components such as current inventory, forecast trends, knowledge of product movement and replenishment.


What you will Do (Responsibilities):

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key Sales and Operational Planning decisions and process improvements
  • Analyze forecast data and trends to make recommendations and manage sales and operations forecast
  • Collaborate weekly with Sales Account Managers and cross-functional Supply Chain teams to present and align on the forecast, and product life cycle planning.
  • Run and generate reports to communicate trends and key information to stakeholders across the business
  • Upload changes to forecast to maintain accurate production scheduling
  • Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints
  • Provide all levels of the company with updates on Supply Chain Planning metrics, including ongoing analysis and interpretation of data. Present information verbally, as well as in written reports
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
  • Drive creation and training of new analytical tools to create further cost efficiencies and best-in-class strategies both internally and externally.
  • Expected to maintain a high accuracy level in regards to forecasting, data entry, and communication of all kinds.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams related to planning and process improvement initiatives
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What you will Need ( Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Finance
  • 2 -- 4 years of work experience in Supply Chain is preferred
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry, preferably with fresh produce
  • Knowledge of systems -- Logility and Tableau Software experience is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels and functions of the organization
  • Good understanding of production and operational processes
  • Team player with the ability to lead projects and initiatives independently with minimal supervision
  • Pro-active, self-starter
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Physical Work Environment: The associate will mainly work in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. The associate is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 30 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to temperatures between 30-40 degrees. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
