The Data Management Clerk will assist and primarily complete the financial accounts receivable and payable processes.  Ensures that all assignments, reports, and activities are entered and maintained in data systems in a prompt, accurate and cost effective manner providing overall support to the Transportation department.  

 

What you will Do:

  • Responsible for all tasks related to BOLs, PODs, invoicing and all data processing functions

  • Ensure invoicing and data specific files including bin load processing, landed costs, and rate sheet maintenance are organized and up to date

  • Manage and process coding and accruing invoices by period for all IB loads

  • Retrieve, process, and tender all data related to IB load acquisition for IB raw loads into Jackson

  • Create and maintain Google Sheets and all applicable department reporting metrics as needed including the IB report, yard sheets, Outbound Matrix, and all TMS reports

  • Interact with & follow up with corporate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other necessary departments

  • Create assigned documents as requested pertaining to workflow SOP’s upon request

  • Collect, manage and prepare daily On Time reporting and entries within TMS via carrier communication and load management

  • Report daily Transportation issues, updates  & communications outward to other departments

  • Assist with monitoring gate entrance and exit

  • Contact carriers and customers as needed

  • Support all Transport workflows  and Transportation team members as needed

  • Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices and food quality and safety programs

  • Perform other related tasks assigned

 

What you will Need:

  • GED/High School Diploma Preferred

  • Strong data entry skills, excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google, and telephone etiquette

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Good communication and Customer Service skills

  • Must have good organizational skills

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Able to handle multiple priorities at one time

  • Flexible work schedule / reliable

  • Performance efficiencies (revenue, accounting, fill rate, cost per case, case per mile, utilization), accurate invoice processing,

Physical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements. The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
