Position Summary:

This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company’s RCE philosophy.  This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.  Position responsible for performing finished goods checks.

 

What you will Do:

  • Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety guidelines and processes and SQF Regulatory Programs. 

  • Sustain Bagged Salad efficiency by minimizing impact while conducting required checks (pH Levels). 

  • Understand and maintain chlorination, acid and water level and temperature requirements. Must have constant communication with QA, Frontline Coordinator and Team Lead with any irregularities or issues.

  • Calibrate Test Equipment (Thermometer, Scale, Oxygen Analyzer, displacement).

  • Understand basic product specifications and validate against work order (cut size, blends).

  • Compile necessary product data and transfer into QA database. 

 

What you will Need:

  • GED/High School Diploma.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to multi-task.

  • Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.

  • Ability to work in a team environment. 

  • Ability to be cross trained & multitask in multiple positions.

  • Performance efficiencies (fill rate, labor & yield), rework, OEE, product specification compliance

  • FO, KPI, Quality Response, Consumer Complaints

  • TCIR, LWCR

  • Knowledge of company GMP’s, Safety Guidelines, and KPI’s. 

  • Engagement Survey and RCE Phase Assessment results.

Physical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements. The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
