Under the sponsorship of the Executive Committee, Bonduelle is launching a business transformation program called B!ONE.

This transformation program aims to redesign the Target Operating Model of Bonduelle (value proposition, processes, skills, data structure and IS solutions), in order to:

- increase our productivity by harmonizing and simplifying our ways of working,

- maximize the potential for transversality and synergies provided by the size of the group,

- strengthen operational excellence by taking advantage of all digital opportunities.

B!ONE is a large program, encompassing all divisions, business units and functions in Bonduelle Group and is expected to last several years.

The qualities workstream will undergo a phase of ‘Detailed design’ of the new target operating model (after a frame phase before the summer) and an ‘Implementation’ phase in the following years.

To lead this transformation, a dedicated team is being built, under the leadership of the B!ONE Program Director, and with a specific Domain Transformation Leader for each domain.

Bonduelle is looking for a Qualities Domain Excellence Manager. The position is to be staffed by September 2022.



About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional and dynamic leader who can drive the success of the program on his domain and in synchronization with other domains. Reporting directly to the Domain Transformation Leader, and in constant interaction with the representatives of each BU for the B!One program, you will coordinate the work to design the future Target Operating Model for the function, and will then drive its implementation in the BUs.


The candidate must be able to drive the design of the new operating model and its implementation, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs with technical constraints.


Key responsbilities:

- Design the new Target operating model for the function, by engaging a large set of stakeholders from all BUs, within the domain and across other domains, through both individual meeting and in-group co-design sessions

- Map the as-is processes, organization, competencies, KPIs and tools in the different BUs, and assess Bonduelle level of maturity vs. best-in-class players

- Clarify the ambition for the function, and formalize the gap vs. the current situation

- Animate co-design sessions to converge on the target, on all dimensions of the operating model (vision, KPI, processes, tools, talent, org…)

- Engage a large set of stakeholders to generate buy-in on the vision

- Build the business case associated with the B!One transformation for the domain

- Lay out the roadmap for further implementation of the processes, tools and ways of working

- Participate in the promotion of the new ways of working and educate managers and employees at all levels about the benefits of the new operating model

- Drive the implementation of the new target operating model (from 2022 onwards)

- Create agile roll-out plan, aligning configuration, integration and testing activities

- Drive the roll-out of the new processes and associated tools & KPI within the different BUs and geographies, by providing training and coaching to the final users

- Identify issues and bottlenecks during the pilots, and suggest adaptations to resolve the issues as they appear

- Support the effective communication on the transformative impact of the program, with a focus on early results and benefits


Expected profile:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Agronomy or related field

Fluent in English

At least 5 years of working experience in the quality fields in one of the following industries: pharmacy, baby food, big chain of restaurant (e.g., McDonalds)

Experience of driving change and promoting new ways of working in a complex organization

Ability to travel up to 50% of your time during the implementation phase

Demonstrated experience in leading change within diverse teams

Broad and deep expertise of the Quality function (product, process & service quality; food safety; customer & consumer quality; supplier quality)

Experience in food industry would be a plus

Excellent planning and execution skills, openness to change, ability to convince and generate buy-in

Ability to think strategically and tactically to align business pain points to solution options and implementation approach

Teamwork and leadership: Ability to lead meetings to collect information and then unite disparate visions into a cohesive whole for the entire organization

Demonstrated good communication / presentation skills and internal client management skills
