Within Bonduelle, we operate as the BDNE (Bonduelle DACH Northern Europe) cluster, with offices located in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) and Reutlingen (Germany). From these locations, we manage our commercial activities across the Benelux, Scandinavia, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For our Finance department, which consists of Controlling and Accounting, we are looking for a:

 

Financial Reporting & FP&A Specialist 

40 hours/week 

 

Your Responsibilities: What will you be doing? 

As Financial Reporting & FP&A Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting and supporting business decision-making through planning and analysis. 

 

You will: 

  • Ensure our accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting; 
  • Be responsible and our first point of contact for the entire trade spends process 
    • Monthly review and update of the customer agreements with our Sales Department & RGM Manager 
    • Monthly calculation & upload of the provisions in our data warehouse and reconciliation with the accounting 
    • Monthly update of the figures for our IBP process and alignment with our business performance controlling 
    • Contact person for the auditors for our annual financial statements 
  • Be responsible for the follow up of our SG&A:  
    • Support and coordinate the budgeting & forecasting process with our CPFO and HRD 
    • Continuous improvement of our monthly standard reporting 
    • Act as a business parter to ensure expenses remain within budget and analyze the gap between planned budgets and actual spending to identify cost drivers and areas for efficiency 
  • Be in charge of the preparation, coordination, and analysis of our quarterly analytical reporting packages in strong cooperation with the local accounting and our CPFO 
  • Act as a key link between Accounting, Business Performance Controlling, and all business stakeholders (esp. Sales & RGM); 
  • Participate to our finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field; 

  • Has several years of experience in financial reporting, FP&A, controlling, accounting or RGM; 

  • Possesses excellent numerical skills. 

  • Has strong analytical abilities, combined with a results-oriented and problem-solving mindset. 

  • Demonstrates a hands-on mentality. 

  • Has strong communication skills, able to interact easily with all levels within the organization. 

  • Shows a proactive attitude and ambition to further develop professionally. 

  • Acts with integrity and handles data accurately and critically. 

  • Has advanced Excel skills (pivot tables hold no secrets). 

  • Has basic knowledge of ERP systems and an affinity for IT. 

  • Has a good command of English in combination with fluent Dutch and/or German and/or French. Speaking multiple languages is a plus.
