This is a contract position.


Position Summary

The Human Resources Representative will provide operational and administrative support to the Human Resources team, Operations team, and hourly employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Primary duties include:

  • Coordinate the recruiting process for hourly recruiting including scheduling and conducting phone interviews, coordinating on-site interviews, offers, and managing the hiring of temporary associates to full-time process.
  • Oversee and manage the pre-employment and on-boarding process, including initiating background checks, drug screens, I-9 processing, and coordinating and scheduling new hire orientation.
  • Conducts new employee orientation sessions, including the all-new hire paperwork processing, benefits overview, new hire badge administration, and bio-clock registration.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining employee personnel files.  
  • Ensures that all necessary paperwork is obtained, completed, and filed in a timely manner including regulator/compliance paperwork and HR records.
  • Utilize ADP to process all employee actions including new hires, terminations, leave of absence, and payroll changes.  
  • Process personnel action forms and assures proper approvals.
  • Assist in employee relations in regard to employee questions, issues, or concerns.
  • Work with HR Manager to determine and take appropriate action to resolve issues in a timely, appropriate, and confidential manner.
  • Manages employee relations in a positive manner and balances business needs with employee advocacy.
  • Assists in developing frontline communication approaches and vehicles in partnership with frontline leadership and plant leadership to ensure active communication and consistency of messaging to the hourly workforce.
  • Assists in supporting employee engagement and communication plans and activities.
  • Assists in employee recognition programs.
  • Maintain and process the adding and processing of enrollment forms of various employee benefit programs, such as life, medical, dental, vision, accident and disability programs, 401(k) investment and savings, COBRA, leave of absences, and flexible spending programs.
  • Enter changes into the UKG system as needed. 
  • Serve as back-up for payroll processing through UKG for hourly and salary associates.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or additional relevant work experience is required.
  • 1 year of HR experience or previous internship experience in an HR department.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution center environments is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
