Position Summary:

This role within our manufacturing plants supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the labels against the product specifications.

 

What you will Do:

  • Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety guidelines and processes and SQF Regulatory Programs. 

  • Understand DSI Scanner Functions to allocate inventory to various production work orders. Understand Production Schedules and key production data (lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.).

  • Maintain an uninterrupted flow of box labeling by understanding production needs. Responsible for securing the required labels from storage and delivering to production lines. 

  • Understand DSI Scanner Functions to allocate inventory to various production work orders. Validate printed labels accurately reflect production work orders. 

  • Operate a manual pallet jack. Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors in wet environment.

  • Communicate verbally and in writing to complete required documentation. 

 

What you will Need:

  • GED/High School Diploma.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to multi-task.

  • Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.

  • Ability to work in a team environment. 

  • Ability to be cross trained & multitask in multiple positions.

  • Performance efficiencies (fill rate, labor & yield), rework, OEE, product specification compliance

  • FO, KPI, Quality Response, Consumer Complaints

  • TCIR, LWCR

  • Knowledge of company GMP’s, Safety Guidelines, and KPI’s. 

  • Engagement Survey and RCE Phase Assessment results.

Physical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements. The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
