We start with sustainability at the origin: the cultivation of our vegetables. Bonduelle always uses seasonal vegetables, which grow outside in the open ground. In addition, we help farmers with alternative techniques to preserve biodiversity, protect the soil and control weeds and pests. That is necessary for a healthy planet and bright future.

Our mission is to create a better future with plant-based food, which is necessary for the planet and for ourselves. Many Dutch and Belgians developed chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes and obesity, which is caused, among other things, by unhealthy food. Many fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of these diseases, which makes us realize we need to eat healthier and continue to eat well.

That is why we provide vegetables and legumes that are tasty and suitable: from easy products for home cooks to vegetable inspiration to chefs. We continuously innovate in new plant-based solutions. We prepare our vegetables and legumes with steam, to keep a crunchy bite, preserve color and great taste. With these principles we stimulate the world to eat more plant-based food.

Bonduelle Northern Europe

As part of the Bonduelle Group, we operate in the zone Bonduelle Northern Europe. This includes the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. Our office is located in Eindhoven.

Food Service Benelux

Bonduelle’s Food Service mission is to make plant-based food easy for chefs (inspiring, easy to buy, easy to cook and profitable) and indulgent for guests (attractive, pleasant and tasty) for all Food Service Channels.

Bonduelle Food Service is more than just vegetables, it also offers complete and tailor-made solutions (products, services, advice, inspiration) that will help Chefs meet the growing demand for plant-based food by helping them to easily create the tastiest dishes for their guests.

1) Knowledge of vegetables

We are in full development and apply methods for a more sustainable cultivation of our crops. In line with our extensive knowledge of agrotechnology, we use the power of nature to grow crops. Thus, we work with nature - and not against it. Sustainability and quality play a key role in every step from field to fork. This starts with the selection of the seeds and only ends when the products have been processed in a tasty dish. Besides, the quality on the plate should be indistinguishable from fresh. Thanks to our advanced technologies, our vegetables and legumes retain their firm bite and nutritional values throughout the cooking process. You can taste that!

2) Culinary expertise

In order to produce the right plant-based products for the Food Service market, you have to understand the chef's needs. By observing chefs in the kitchen in various countries in Europe, we at Bonduelle understand what goes on in their heads while cooking. We see the challenges they face and the solutions we can provide for them.

The Food Service Team

The Food Service Sales Team is led by the Sales & Marketing Director Food Service Benelux & UK. The Team consists of a Dutch and BeLux Food Service Team, working from Eindhoven and at Client Locations.

The Position: Foodservice AM Wholesale Belux 

Due to growth of the Foodservice department on Key Accounts in both the commercial and social channel, a new position has arisen for an Account Manager Wholesale BeLux. This AM position requires a proven track record of doing business with different wholesalers across Belgium and Luxembourg. The focus in this role is on maintaining and developing the existing relationships with our wholesalers by conducting price negotiations, range optimisation, coordinating activations and promotions in joint consultation with the wholesaler and of course efficient collaboration with our (end) customers and colleagues to achieve good business results.

You inspire customers through your passion for plant-based food, knowledge, listening skills and persuasiveness to start working more plant-based. You include the internal organization in your plans. You are a builder with vision and you take initiative. You close deals in a creative way in which you show courage and build and expand the relationship with customers and prospects.

You work closely with colleagues from Marketing, the Culinary team and Sales. You will report to the KAM Wholesale Benelux.

Tasks & Responsibilities 

• Putting our customers first: what do they find important and how can you help, relieve and grow them on behalf of Bonduelle?

• Customer Focus; solution selling within the B2B and B2C environment,

• Translating trends and developments within the plant-based food category into collaboration with customers,

• Connecting specialists on the  (potential) customer side with the specialists at Bonduelle, such as our culinary advisor and channel marketeer, to proactively accelerate the business,

• Monitoring objectives and maintaining efficient records regarding visits, budgets, forecasts, account plans and other relevant information,

• Deliver the budget and implement our strategy in terms of growth, profitability and other set KPI's.
   

Performance areas
1) Deliver the Food Service Budget P&L, focussing on sustainable topline growth (KPI's Turnover IFRS, Volume, CI mass en CI%),

2) Operational performance: based on customer satisfaction, service turnaround plan focussing on an extended route to market via Key Accounts.

Experience & Competencies

• Bachelor or Master level,

• At least 3 years of work experience within Food Service / Out of Home with a relevant network,

• Language skills: Dutch, French and English (spoken and written),

• Understanding and/or experience with wholesalers,

• Entrepreneurial, eagerness and commercial savviness,

• Strong communication skills: Inspire, Influence and Convince,

• Affinity with and interest in Plant-Based solutions,

• Result and Customer focussed,

• Strong analytical skills.
   

Pro’s: 

•  Experience with both wholesalers and end users
